Lo1 BBFC rating of our film

Image
After looking at the BBFC rating guidelines. I believe that our product is an age rating of 15 and up. This is because of our excessive language use and showing off drug use. We have not however promoted any of these things as we have instead shown how these can effects people in a negative way.

LO4 Evaluating Feedback

Image
After finishing our film, we premiered the film in a screen test and sent the audience a Survey created using Surveymonkey.co.uk. The feedback that was given back to us was precise and informative, each question asked in the survey was made with the purpose of showing us how we can improve our product, if we were to re-shoot scenes again.  Q1. How was the acting? The strengths of the acting in our product, that was stated in the survey, proved to us that Ellis was able to convey an aggressive, complicated person. The chemistry between Ellis and Toby also elevated each scene as their deliver was able to convey their relationship without needing to directly tell the audience. Our product is similar to other parody movies such as the Scary movie franchise, this is because we make fun of many different things featured in horror, thriller, and drama films.

Eventually we had to scrap some ideas for scenes, as we went to 3 different shops and each shop said that we would be unable to film inside so we had to change the scene and make our character get knocked out in a different way. This ended up changing the plot of the film completely as we then changed our character to just be a bad person who committed crimes instead of a person who had a mental illness of the six deadly sins. Although the character changed we wanted to keep the scenes as similar as we could, the first scene which was a robbing scene, we changed from a shop to a house and had the main character robbing a house instead and then instead of getting hit by a car we had a ball be thrown ...

Lo3 Upload of short film draft

Image
This is our first draft of our product. It isn't fully finished and doesn't include all of the special and audible effects that we will implement in future lessons. Originally, this version of the film was used to show how we edited each scene together and made seamless edits between takes.
